Cathleen Peterson

Cathleen is a primary therapist with Avery’s House holding a Masters degree in clinical mental health counseling from Grand Canyon University. Cathleen works with individuals and families with a solution-focused and strength-based approach, helping individuals and their families communicate better and forge a new path towards their goals in life. Cathleen completed her undergraduate in psychology with a minor in criminal justice cum laude and historically has worked with youth involved in juvenile probation to help them live more consistently with what they want their futures to look like. Cathleen lives in Mesa, Arizona with her husband, children, and two black cats and enjoys crocheting blankets for her nieces.
